Vienna, Austria

I only got to spend two days in Vienna. I was there mainly to file for my business visa at the Czech embassy there. I got in the evening on a Thursday. My appointment at the embassy was at nine the next morning. Luckily the hostel that I picked to stay in was an easy twenty minute walk away. I spent over half the day dealing with them. They didn't like how one of my documents was worded. All the information they needed was on there. I think they just like to be assholes from time to time. But, they do it with a smile. You just have to smile back and curse them when you leave. I got a little bit of a chance to walk around the city to take some pictures that day. I got back to the hostel and decided to make it a quiet night and just chill on the internet and have a couple happy hour beers in the hostel. My plan was to get to bed early so I would have plenty of time to see some sites around Vienna. I was the only one in the hostel's bar for a while and had a long conversation with the bartender. He ended up selling my a couple more beers after happy hour at the happy hour price. I was just about to call it a night when a cute Spanish girl asked if I wanted to do some shots of Yeager with her and her friends. Whats a guy to do? So a few shots later I was pretty well lite. I spent the morning and afternoon throwing up. My heading was pounding all the way back to Czech later that night. Needless to say I didn't see much of Vienna. I was so I of it walking the streets that afternoon that I didn't pay attention a few times when crossing a street. Thank god I had the green light. I bought a sandwich from a deli hoping that I good get that on my stomach. I was too out of it to notice that the clerk short changed me ten Euros. If I wasn't already having a crap day I probably could have fumbled through my little bit of German to get it sorted but I all I could really say was, "you owe me ten f#^king euros!" Luckily another customer could speak English and got it worked out.
It was extremely windy that day and taking pictures sucked. I didn't feel comfortable using my tripod. It doesn't matter. I know I will be going back there again anyway. I made it to the train, found an empty compartment and locked the door. I wanted to feel like shit by myself on the way back to Czech.
